This is the ultimate guide to pure range. No non-combat skilling or food is required and it takes 1-2 weeks playing a few hours a day to get from 1-70 ranged.
STEP ONE: Make your character on tutorial island and train your range level to 3. After that, log out and set some recovery questions just incase.
STEP TWO: After completing tutorial island, go to the house beside the lumbrige guide and go down the ladder. Then talk to Sir Vant and offer to kill the dragon and he should give you two experience lamps. Use both of them on range. Then proceed the barbarian village, and there if you are in a populated world, there should be many people fishing trout and salmon. Just ask for 10 cooked trout/salmon as you will need them to get the fancy/warrior boots along with the 10k. After you have gotten the food, go down the ladder in the middle of the barbarian village and complete the levels until you get to the end and get the boots. If you are having trouble, you can just go online and search for the fastest routes to the end of each level. After you have gotten the boots and 10k, go to the underground tunnel where the cockroaches are, (just above barbarian village) and read all the signs. Proceed upstairs and write the safety test. Hopefully you passed:) unlike me who actually failed it many times. If you passed, you should get two experience lamps, each giving 500 exp to any stat. Use them both on range and you should have around 13 range with 10hp. Then you should go down the ladder into the evil lair of the cockroaches, but dont worry they arn't agressive:). Find the GIANT chest and take the 10k with the safety gloves.
STEP THREE: Now that you have 20k, you dont need to skill for more money unless your going to train attack to 40 which is quite expensive if your not a very good pker and die a lot like me. Sell all the stuff from the tutorial island and buy all the necessary materials. I think all of them are leather chaps, leather vambs, leather coif, leather body, studded chaps, a crossbow with 1000 bronze bolts and 1000 bronze arrows with a willow shortbow. Start off using the crossbow and it is reccomended that you power range becuase bolts are only 2gp each.
STEP FOUR: Now there are several places you can start off training where you wont need food. If you like having runescape money, (im not one of those people), and you would rather train slower with tons of money for later, you can kill chickens in lumbridge and collect the feathers, or range cows behind the fence and pick up the cow hides. Another option, if you want to skill and make money is you can power range on cows behind the fence, or on level one of the barbarian stronghold on the goblins through the first gate. Power ranging is where you just shoot without picking up the arrows. Do this until 20 range, as this shouldn't take too long.
STEP FIVE: If you have any leftover bolts, sell them and take your 1000 bronze arrows and willow shortbow along with your new studded chaps and head over to the good old monks. Range here from 20-30 range, and just heal on them whenever you have low hp. If your lazy like me and dont like to click, you can just leave your arrows on the ground, but this should go rather quick. When you are done, sell the remaining arrows.
STEP SIX: You should have around 12k cash left. Now, there are a few options you have. If you like skilling, or have a stat that is already a pretty decent money maker, you either make money by skilling, by combat, or just keep training without making money because you wont need any non-combat skills in this guide. Now buy 2k bronze arrows with the remaining cash and a maple bow. Now go back to barbarian village to the level 27 minotaurs and range them from behind the wall. Collect ALL the iron arrows, and this is the part i really stress ALL if you dont have any non-combat skills to make money for you.
STEP SEVEN:After you have 40 range, sell ALL your iron arrows to the grand exchange. They usually never sell during the day, but it is assured that they will sell overnight. With the cash you have made, buy dragonhide vambs and chaps and a coif and sell ALL your equipment that you previously used except for the maple bow. With the remaining cash, buy as many bronze arrows as you can. Now you will be training on hill giants from 40-50 range, so you will need to buy a brass key. Again, no food is needed as there is a safespot on the farside wall where you can range from behind the jagged rocks. It is required that you collect all the big bones if you haven't skilled for money and bank them every time you have a full inventory.
STEP EIGHT: Now that you have 50 range, sell ALL the big bones for cash unless you are a skiller and want to bury the bones. Then buy as many bronze arrows as you can, leave 500 in your bank, and head over to the cow field beside the crafting guild. Here you will be power ranging from 50-70 range, meaning you will rapid shoot without picking up your arrows. Oh no, but not on cows, you will be power ranging on the hobgoblins across the river. Again, no food is required and this will go really quickly. Once you run out of arrows, take the 500 bronze arrows from your bank and go back to the hill giants and kill them until you get enough money for 10k bronze arrows, which should only be about 5-7 inventories. Then head back to the crafting guild and power range hobgoblins again. Repeat as many times as necessary, and if i am not mistaken, i believe it is about 60k bronze arrows (60 000) power ranging from 50-70 range.
STEP NINE Now that you have 70 range and 48 combat, you are able to hit 12 with adamant arrows, and you have 1 in all your other combat stats, there are a variety of things you can do. You can PK (player kill) just for fun like I did to test my pure out, and it worked amazing because he owned. You can train your strength and range/2h like I did after I had my fun pking. Another thing you can do is skill for money if you need it, which probabely most people will do after this like I did right after i got 70 range. Or you can do whatever the hell you want. Be a tanker, (range+defence), train prayer, do quests, walk around, quit runescape, ANYTHING!
NOTES: - dont use warrior or fancy boots from barbarian village because it decreses your range bonus and always use your range gear to make the training go fast. It might not seem like it, but in the long run it saves you time.
NUMBER ONE RULE: HAVE FUN. PLEASE TAKE REGULAR BREAKS AND DONT GET FRUSTERATED. TAKE PKING BREAKS IF YOU WANT.

Ok, so let me explain it in simple steps.
Download a free recording program such as an unregistered Hypercam. Doing so is completely free and risk-free. To learn how to do so, you can go onto Youtube.
Next you need to have an editing program. If you have Windows, you should have Windows Movie Maker installed already. If you have a Mac, use i-movie HD.
Start recording what you want to be in your video. Open Hypercam from the start menu. Select the area by drawing a rectangle around where you want to record. The best way to record is only on the Runescape window, and not your inventory and chatbox, unless you need those in your video. Pause the Hypercam after recording a clip and start again when you are ready to record the next clip.
Now when you are done recording, open Movie Maker. Select "Import" and go to "recently changed." Import your clip. Change the "Storyboard" to "Timeline." Now, in the pauses between separate clips, click "Split" under the video preview.
Time for the fun stuff. Now you can add effects to your video to make it more interesting. Change back to storyboard. Then, you add effects by dragging them from the picture to the clip you want to use it on. For adding transitions between separate clips, drag a transition from the picture for it to the small boxes with arrows in them between the clips. Try out a few and choose the ones you want. Then add titles and credits.
Now you are ready to present your video! Click "Publish Movie" at the top of the screen and follow the steps. When you are done you have an authentic video. Many people like to put their videos on Youtube. Go there, log in, and click Upload. Then add a title, information, and tags. Wait a while, and W00t! Project complete!

I am sure that many people on Runescape love being a member but their parents wont let them keep their membership privileges. This has happened to me on numerous occasions and I think that before becoming a non- member on Runescape people should be able to sell their Void Knight Robes from the Pest Control mini-game back to the Void Knight for points. How to Superheat Steel Bars in RuneScape
You need large amounts of money for this to be effective.
You need 43 mage to do this.
Frist you go to the Grand Exchange.
To go to the GE use varrock teleport or walk.
You have to have at least 1k to do this, so any amount of money is fine.
1. Buy as much iron ore as you want.
2. Buy as much Nature runes as the same amount as iron ore.
3. Buy double the amount of iron ore you bought.
4. Buy fire staff.
5. Empty inventory and items that you are wearing.
6. Equip your fire staff
7. Take out all the nature runes that you bought
8. Take out 9 iron ores and 18 coal.
9. Press the superheat button.

New Runescape Gold Making Guide
Making bowstrings makes real money real fast. First you will need to get your crafting to level 10 which can be done by shearing sheep and spinning there fur into wool. The next step is to buy as much flax as you want, I usually buy around a 1000. The cost for flax now is about 78 gp each as of 9-7-08. So it will cost u around 78k depending on the seller (you can always just pick the flax yourself if your very low on cash). Then you go to the Lumbridge bank at the top of the castle and pick up a full inventory of flax and go to the second level of the castle. Then you spin the whole inventory into bowstrings, and then go back up to the bank, store the bowstrings, get another full inventory of flax and repeat. If you bought a 1000 flax you get a total profit of 120,000 gp and a whopping 198, 000 gp if you picked the flax.
Some good money making strategies for free players is air running. Air running is simple all you need is 25 un-noted rune essence and an air talisman. First, make sure your in world 16. Then get your 25 rune essence and an air talisman and go to the air temple by selecting locate on the air talisman. Once there use the talisman on the stone and you will be teleported to the air temple. There will be people saying 1.5k + ess back. Trade with these people. You should give them 25 un-noted rune essence and they will give you the money and 25 noted rune essence. Then you go back to Falador and un-note those noted rune essence and do the same thing. Sometimes if your lucky the seller will give you some air runes too.
Runescape Skill Leveling and Easy Money Making Guide
This is a simple guide that will give a broad overview of skills and how to level them quickly or sufficiently balancing the spending and experience you receive per hour. This guide is for non members (f2p). This guide isn't for lower levels and it is based on higher levelled skills but the basics are included in this guide too.
Magic:
Mage is a great skill for combat from a distance, but levelling it can be a tedious process. There is no cheaper way to level it, but it does get easier once you reach level 43 and over. I don't have a certain guide from bellow level 43 but I do recommend using non combat mage spells because they do tend to be cheaper. I have heard of people going to south of Falador, with fire runes and using the spell “fire strike” on a wizard of the same “rune”, in this case fire. This means, the wizard won't take any damage from a spell of his own kind, this means you don't have to keep an eye at your character unless there is a chance that you might die, but the wizard will stay alive as long as you use fire strike. Once you reach level 43, I highly recommend you use “super heat”. This is a spell that turns your ores into bars without going to a furnace. This is fast xp for both smithing and magic, it is cheap and reliable. Your next goal is level 55 mage, here, you can start alching, and you should always high alch or you might loose money. Alching is the way to get to 99 mage, and it should take 3 months if you alch at least 4k of the item a day, and remember, it doesn't matter the cost of the item, you will always get 65 mage xp from alching.
Runecrafting:
This is a hard skill to level, in members or non members. For fast xp, you should start with air and keep using air till level 50. This is a lot of work, but it is the fastest way if you are walking. I recommend using a tiara and normal essence. Now, at level 50, you can make a bit of cash with crafting air runes, but I recommend going to the runecrafting guild, found in the wizard's tower. There, you can participate in a mini game which will earn you tokens, you can spend the tokens on what ever you want, but if you want to keep levelling your runecrafting, buy as many teleporting tablets to the body alter as you can and then go to the grand exchange and buy rune essence. To find out how many essence you can craft with the tablets, you times the number of rune essence you can fit in your inventory by the number of tablets which. Now you can just teleport to the body altar, craft the runes and then teleport to Varrock and head to the big bank, and repeat. You will loose money, but you will level fast. I am sure there are other ways, but this is just one of the many.
Mining:
The fastest way to level mining is by power mining. Power mining is where you mine the iron ore and then drop it on the spot. Iron ore is the fastest xp you can get, at about 45k to 55k xp an hour. But, this is now impossible as it requires 3 ores to be in a v like shape, but that was taken away with the latest update. You can still mine the 3 ores in alkarad but you will have to walk. Another way to mine is to mine coal in the mining guild, level 60 mining required, or 59 + stout. You can do a lot of things in the mine, one of them would be to mine mithril ore and coal ore then super heat and turn into bars, when you have a full inventory, bank and repeat. This is 8k less xp an hour then power mining iron.
Smithing:
With smithing, you can get creative, but it cost a lot of money to level, and for an f2p player, it is a near impossible task if you don't have the time and money. You have 3 main choices here, super heat ores at bank, but the lower levelled the ore the more money you will loose, you can smelt the ores normally, buy either buying the ores from the grand exchange or mining them yourself. The fastest, but most expensive way is the smith steel plates, buy steel bars and make steel plates, this is extremely fast but very expensive. You can mine the ores, and then make the bars yourself if you want, but this will be a lot slower. This is the way to get to 99 in f2p.
Fishing:
There aren't many ways to fish in f2p; you have to choose between fast xp or fast money. Fishing is a great way to make money in f2p and p2p. If you want money, get to level 41 fishing and go to Karamja and fish lobsters, it will be slow so I recommend a level of around 60 if you want good money. If you want fast xp, buy or get your own feathers, buy a fly fishing rod and go and fish trout and salmon at barbarian village. This is the fastest fishing xp and it only takes around 3 minutes for a full bag of both trout and salmon. At level 65 fishing, you can get swordfish gloves from Fist of Guthix which will allow you to fish 1000 swordfish without getting any tuna. If you want money, always fish the best thing you can, if you want xp go to barbarian village.
Cooking:
Cooking is a very easy skill to level, and the fastest way is to buy the raw fish from the grand exchange, cook them and then sell them. You will always loose money, and will end up loosing around 3 - 4ml from 1 to 99. Try not to cook fish that you will burn, and once you get to level 86, you can cook swordfish to level 99 because they are cheaper then lobsters because you need less of them and the difference between buying and selling is less gp. You can always fish your own fish, and cook them which will level both your fishing and cooking. Be aware, trouts are the cheapest to cook and you will only loose a few gp but they sell very slowly, but a bit faster then willow logs.
Firemaking:
Fire making costs a lot of money and you don't make any money from it in non members. It is a bit useless, but it is an easy skill to level. For fast xp, use the best logs you can, but I don't recommended you use yews because they cost too much if you use them all the way to 99, only use them when you get to the high 90s. I would recommend using maple logs to 99 because they are cheaper and it will cost around 3.5ml to 99. Use willow if you have to, they cost around half as much as willow logs.
Woodcutting:
Woodcutting is a good money making skill once you get to level 60 woodcutting. Chopping down yew logs at level 60 is very slow, so the higher you are the better. To get to level 60 woodcutting, cut willows at either Lumbrige or Draynor. I would recommend Draynor but it is always crowded. Willow is a lot faster xp then yews but they don't sell very well, it takes a long, long time.
Runescape F2p Money Making Guide
There are three ways to make money on Runescape. The first is skilling. Getting high skills and using those skills to make money. Wood cutting, fishing and mining are just some off them.
Wood cutting
If you want to make money using wood cutting then I would suggest getting level 65, so that you will be able to cut yews a bit faster. Yews sell for about 400-500 sometimes.
Fishing
The only problem with fishing is that all the locations on F2P are no where near a bank. If you want to make big bucks then get level 55 so you can get swordfish a bit faster. Swordfish sell for about 450-510.
Mining
Mining is the hardest to level and the most boring but it is the most rewarding. If you get level 85 you are now able to mine Runite ore. These sell for 19 000 per each! You can find Runite ore in wilderness.
Player killing
The 2nd and probably the best is Player killing. All you need is to start a new account and get your range and defence up. Your combat won't change that much so you will be able to pick off all those noobs. If you get about 60 range and 10-20 defence you will be able to make 500 000 in one kill if you go to a crowded world.
Merchanting
Merchanting has become a lot harder because of the trade limit, but you can still make money merchanting. One of the most profitable is buying clay and then softening it. If you buy 1000 pieces of clay at 100 000 you could make up to 50 000 in just 20 minutes. But one thing you must remember is that the richer you get the easier it is to make more money.
How to PK and Get Rich
Remember to bring about twenty bits of food every time you go into the danger zone.
The golden rule of player killing is not to bring stuff that you will not want to lose, Ive had bad experiences and I've been shouting at my computer since. Anyway, first you need to have good defence levels like 30+ and about 40-50+ strength and 40 attack so you can wield rune. I suggest buying or fishing heaps of lobsters of trout, and a rune scimitar and/or 2h sword. Then prepare yourself! go to a Player killing world in limbering or near port sari min if you are a beginner or var rock or fang-ore if you think you're very good.
First you need to find a good spot to wait where not many people will come and try to kill you, because the longer you stay in the unsafe zone where people can attack you, the more likely you will get a good drop. After you've waited about ten minutes try to spot someone around your level or lower which you can attack. Once you attack them and you're winning or losing put you're prayer on defence or strength boosts depends if you're winning or losing. If you are winning you're enemy might try to run into the safe zone where you will have ten seconds to finish them off. If you think you won't be able to kill them don't bother running after them, just a waist of energy. You're running energy is very important because if you don't have much when you are running after someone you might not be able to catch them because you will run out of running energy.
You should recharge your prayer points after every fight, because if you run out of them during a fight you will start losing. if you have good defence, you should pick on strength pures because they have no defence and if you're wearing armor they barley ever hit you but you own them. Don't try and kill rangers because they will own you! Remember to bring about twenty bits of food every time you go into the danger zone!

I. Nature Running
Nature running is the act of helping runecrafters earn experience. To Run Nature Runes, you must first have a lot of pure essence. Buy as much as you can. Then, go to the nature altar for Runecrafting. The nature altar is on the lower part of Karamja and Brimhaven. It is just north of Shilo Village. The red "X" marks the spot.
Nature Running is the act of brining unnoted pure essence to the Nature Altar. Once there, you request assistance from one of the players in gold robes. When they assist you, you will be able to craft 2 nature runes for 1 essence, even if you don't have the right Runecrafting level. Then bank your nats and repeat the process. The quickest way to do this is by use of the abyss. The profit per hour of nature running is: 263k. Not bad!
II. Flax Picking
Flax picking is also a fantastic way to make money. I would reccomend completing as much of the Seers Village Achievement Diary first, as then you can recieve free flax daily. First pick the flax, in the enclosure to the southeast of Seer's village. Then go northwest to the first hut you see. Climb upstairs, where you can spin the Flax into bowstring, earning you great crafting xp. Leave the house and continue to the bank. Go back to the flax field and repeat the process. The three areas are all in close proximity, making this really fast and easy. Bow strings are 180 coins each. You can make 150k per hour.
III. Player Killing (pking)
This is perhaps the best method of all. The only problem is that you have gotta do it right. If you do, the average profit per hour is about 1 mil. You can get dragon items almost every drop.

Fighting Instructions
Walk to the location you want to fight monsters in, Click the autofighter tab on top of the bot input your food type and select deathwalk to keep fighting to death then walk back or click eat food keep restocking and logout on low hp.
Selecting Monsters
When you are near a monster you can add it to the list (Some Game NPCs are not fightable, so dont add them).

#3 Lumbridge explorer's ring (3)This is a great ring, both in f2p and p2p.Not only does it give +1 magic and +1 prayer but it also has great effects as well. Like restore run energy when you are doing rune crafting runs and mining. Also the teleport to cabbage patch will save you extra bag slots for Pking.On top of all that it also has a low alchemy feature which will turn stuff you don't need into gold, great eh?
